ARRIVAL
INFORMATION
Access to
the apartment by vehicle, from the central round-about (with the Christmas tree
on it) and the bus station on your right, continue straight on to the next
roundabout. At this roundabout take the
first right which then splits, take the left road which goes into a tunnel. Continue through the tunnel. You will exit at Rond Point Piste and the
apartments are on the left, the area to the right being the bus pick up
area. You will be able to drop off in
front of the apartment. The access is
set back on the left of the large courtyard, being Building 1, to the right of
the entrance is a ski hire shop. At the
ground floor level of the apartments you will see a Bar/Pizzeria restaurant,
which you may wish to use later for dining.
If
arriving by bus, see the attached plan showing the suggested route to the
apartment, which takes you past the ice rink and ski ticket booking office.
APARTMENT ACCESS
The apartment will be available from 1600 hours each Saturday. You will need to obtain from us the access
code for the main door, which will operate after 1800 hours until 0800 hours.
You will also need to obtain from us the access code for the front door to the
apartment. This is an additional security to the door key. Please call us on receipt of this and codes will be
provided.
PARKING
There is a parking restriction of
15 minutes directly outside the apartment building which will enable you to
offload the contents from your vehicle. You will then need to park your
vehicle for the duration of your stay. There are various parking areas but I
can recommend LeFornet which can be easily accessed and by using the local free
bus service, return to the apartment.
Underground parking is available adjacent to the bus pick up area. This
can be organised at the Hotel Meara opposite the entrance to the
apartment. The cost is approximately €50 – 60 per week.
LINEN
Your linen, if you have
pre-booked will be delivered by the Agency prior to your arrival.
ELECTRICITY
Your electricity in the apartment
will already be on providing you with heating, hot water and lighting. Please
note that the hot water supply is not unlimited and excessive use will result
in having to wait for the water to reheat, taking approximately 1 – 2
hours. In the event that a fuse trips, the fuse board is recessed into
the kitchen wall adjacent to the front door on the left hand side as you enter
the apartment.
COOKER
You will
find hot plates and a microwave/grill for your use in the apartment
DISHWASHER
To use the dishwasher the dial
should be set to the appropriate wash load and the knob pushed in and then the
on/off button activated. Please ensure the dishwasher filter is emptied before
you leave and the dishwasher is clean and free of food debris. Please note that dishwasher tablets are not
provided.

RUBBISH
COLLECTION
You will find the rubbish bins
situated downstairs in a room adjacent to the ski locker room in the central
communal area. These bins will be emptied twice weekly throughout the
season.
NO SMOKING
Smoking is prohibited inside the
apartment. Please respect the owners’ wishes on this no smoking policy for the health of all our guests. In the event of any damage to
the apartment or contents due to non-compliance with the above policy you will
be held liable for any costs incurred.
CARPET
Please take off your boots/shoes
before entering the apartment in order to stop muddy marks on the carpet.
SKI
HIRE
Please make yourself
known to Ski Republic,
opposite the apartment. Up to 20% discount will be granted on hire of ski equipment, and up to 10%
discount on purchases if you quote Peter Smith
- Fantiski apartment.
DEPARTURE
DETAILS
Please depart by 10.00 hours
On the Saturday of your departure from our
self contained apartment in Val d’Isère please ensure the instructions below
are followed:-
LINEN
Please take the linen off the
beds you have used and leave this in the plastic bag (the bag your linen came
in). Should any of the linen be missing when collected from your apartment the
cost of replacement (this may include all costs incurred in the replacement of
the linen) will be deducted from your damage retention deposit monies.
KITCHEN
Please ensure you remove all
unused food from the refrigerator/ freezer. Please ensure you empty the filter
in the dishwasher.
RUBBISH
COLLECTION
Please
ensure you take all household waste rubbish down to the main bins.
KEYS
Please
make sure you return the keys to us immediately upon your return.
DAMAGE
RETENTION MONIES
Will not be refunded should any damage,
whether accidental or not, occur to the apartment or its contents. An
inspection after your departure and before any new clients arrive, takes place
each Saturday. A status report is forwarded to us via the Agency, therefore if
any known damage occurs it is best to advise Paul of Val Services on 0033
479062979.
REFUND
OF RETENTION MONIES
To ensure full refund please
leave the apartment in the same condition you found it upon your arrival. Your
deposit, subject to a satisfactory inspection report, will be returned to you
by cheque within 14 days of your departure. Should there be matters that
require attention, then you will be advised accordingly.
We trust the above information is
clear, meanwhile should there be any point which you wish to clarify, please

normal working hours.
It is with regret that we inform you that any
failure to do any one of the above may incur you in monies being deducted from
your retention deposit monies as the cleaning company may invoice us for
additional work costs.
